For all appointment based services – please read and familiarize yourself with the information below and our general policies.

First-Time Clients

Please read these general policies and completely fill out and sign the following forms. You can either save them and email them to forms@rockysretreat.com, or print them out and bring them with you to your appointment.

Plan to arrive at least 15 to 20 minutes early, so we can meet you and your dog, and discuss your expectations for the session and your goals for your dog.

Scheduling

All services are by appointment only.

Plan on arriving at least 10 minutes before your appointment begins to allow time to potty your dog. If you are late for your appointment, your session will be shortened accordingly.

In order to secure your appointment and honor our cancellation policy, please be prepared to provide us with a valid credit card number.

Cancellations

Should you need to change or cancel your appointment, please allow a 12-hour advance notice otherwise we reserve the right to charge your credit card for 50% of the services scheduled. If you do not call or show up for your appointment, you will be charged for the full amount of the session.

Payment Types

We accept all major credit cards, cash and personal checks as forms of payment.

Aqua Therapy

One hour aqua therapy sessions consist of a maximum of 55 minutes in the pool. Half hour sessions consist of a maximum of 25 minutes in the pool.

Factors that determine pool time include:

Do not feed your dog for at least 6 hours prior to your appointment or 10 to 12 hours if your dog has bowel control problems. You must let us know if your dog has bowel control problems.

Poop accidents in the pool are a very rare occurrence. If one occurs, a $150 charge may be assessed to partially cover the cost of cleanup. Session fees are non-refundable. If we know ahead of time your dog may have bowel control problems we can take appropriate measures to prevent an accident in the pool.

Canine Massage, Reiki, Acupressure

While canine massage, Reiki, and acupressure appointments are scheduled as hour long sessions, your dog will tell us when he or she is finished. We respect that and will end the session at that time.

On occasion, your dog may not be able to relax enough to allow us to perform the service, especially if unaccustomed to these type of therapies. During the session we’ll do our best, but there are no guarantees. We’ll never force anything on your dog.
