Everything You Need To Know About Our Speciality Service That Provides Fitness For Dogs

Sure, a walk counts as fitness for dogs, but does walking have as many benefits as hydrotherapy?

Read below to find out about our service that is awesome fitness for dogs.

What Is Hydrotherapy?

Think water aerobics, but for dogs. Hydrotherapy is a non-weight bearing exercise that was designed to offer a safe, full-body workout for pups. If your pup struggles to climb up the stairs, has joint pain, is recovering from an injury or has had a few too many treats lately, swimming could be a great resource for getting them back on track.

The Benefits

Not only does hydrotherapy offer great fitness for dogs, but it also helps to strengthen muscles, loosen joints and reduce stress, pain and anxiety. When pups don’t get enough exercise or their pain isn’t treated properly, their muscles get tense and they often lose flexibility.

Hydrotherapy provides a low-impact way to exercise that isn’t so hard on their legs. It’s a safe service for pups of all ages, sizes and weight. And not to mention, they especially love it in this Florida heat!

Sessions Offered

We offer two different sessions at Rocky’s: An Assisted Swim Session and a Recreational Swim Session.

Our assisted sessions are led by a trained and certified canine hydrotherapist who is always in the pool with your pup to monitor their health and ensure maximum productivity. Each session is designed to meet your pup’s specific needs and we welcome parents who are interested in watching the magic happen! Assisted swim sessions range from $55 for 30 minutes and $90 for an hour. But, we’ll offer you 10% off for first-time clients!

We also have special packages for both ½ hour and 1-hour sessions. For ½ hour sessions:

For 1-hour sessions:

Fitness For DogsOur recreational swims are for pups who simply love to swim and play in the water. This session is guided by you, the pup’s parent, on the sidelines. We encourage you to throw a tennis ball or other pool toys to direct your dog’s workout. These sessions range from $40 for 30 minutes and $60 for an hour. But, we have a special going on where you can buy 4 sessions and get one FREE! Fitness for dogs has never been so fun for both parties, trust us!
