Our Orlando doggie day care is a great resource for your pet, giving them the opportunity to get some much needed exercise and socialization. But as with every group activity, it’s important to have Orlando dog daycare policies and procedures that everyone follows – so your friend can have fun with a side of safety!
Before you sign your dog up for day care, you will need to schedule an appointment for a free evaluation. We do these Monday through Thursday, and they are easy and quick.
Next, there will be a few forms to fill out before your pup’s first doggie day care session. You can find those here:
Since we keep our group sizes small, we require reservations for our doggie day care. If you have a membership, you can guarantee a spot on the days that you pre-select.
As part of our doggie day care policies and procedures, we require your dog to be current on the following vaccinations:
We also require all of our doggie day care participants to have had a fecal exam within the last 6 months, and heartworm exams within the last year. Additionally, all dogs should be on a heartworm and a flea and tick preventative.
We love to spend time with your pet each day, but we have to abide by our Orlando dog daycare policies and procedures too! That means that drop-off begins as early as 7:30AM, and pickup is no later than 6:30PM, or late fees will apply. If your dog is not picked up by 7:00PM, then they will be boarded for the night at our regular dog boarding rate.
We accept credit card, cash or personal checks as payment, and offer great low-cost membership rates to help you save money on our doggie day care.
We understand that unexpected events can come up and get in the way of your dog’s day at Rocky’s Retreat. That’s why we ask that you give a 24 hour notice for cancellations, or as much notice as you are able.
If you want to know more about our doggie day care policies and procedures, or are ready to send your dog for a day of doggie day care, give us a call! We can’t wait to meet your furry friend.
